Dr. Bimal K. Bose (Life Fellow, IEEE) is currently an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN, USA. He was Endowed Chair Professor (Condra Chair of Excellence in Power Electronics) at the University of Tennessee from 1987 until 2003, where he was responsible to organize power electronics education and research program. Concurrently, he was the Distinguished Scientist (1990-1992) and the Chief Scientist (1987-1989) of EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute) Power Electronics Applications Center (PEAC) in Knoxville, TN, USA. Elzbieta Patkowska is an Professor of Phytopathology at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, Poland. She studied Biology at the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin, Poland and then got Ph.D. (2000) and Habilitated Doctor degrees (2012) at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin in the subject of biodiversity of microorganisms colonizing soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merrill] and susceptibility of different varieties of plants to infection by fungi with special regard to Phomopsis sojae Lehman. She is interested in the interactions between plants and pathogenic/non-pathogenic microorganisms and the possibility of applying biological methods in plant protection. Dr. Koen Bertels, quantum computing and DNA researcher at FPGAHouse and QSentinel, Switzerland
As a professor of Computer Engineering at the Delft University of Technology (NL), Koen Bertels scientific research has focused on quantum computing, specifically on defining and implementing a scalable quantum computer system for any scientific and operational field. The notion of the perfect qubit, called PISQ or Perfect (qubits) Intermediate Scale Quantum is an older, theoretical concept, but it allows one to think about the algorithmic solutions one wants to study in any field without having to worry about returning to the ground state and all kinds of errors in the quantum calculation. 1995 : PhD on atmospheric electricity, to evaluate chemicals, like O3 and NxOy gases as well as aerosols, created by electrical discharges developing at vegetal points under natural electric field related to meteorological conditions and clouds. Thanks to Max and Alice Goldman, I've discovered electrical corona discharges at atmospheric pressure.

Then, I worked on Electro-sprays as Postdoc in TU Delft, for powder production of micron-sized multi-Metal oxides by electro coagulation, to achieve stochiometric mixing of reactants in droplets micro-reactors.

Witold Litwin is the Emeritus Professor since Sept. 2014 at Universite de Dauphine-PSL, affiliated with Lamsade Laboratory. Before, he was Exceptional Class Professor of Computer Science. His research areas are multidatabase systems, data structures and scalable distributed data structures (SDDSs). The techniques he has proposed or pioneered in 80-ties are routinely taught in database courses and presented in numerous books, including the Art of Computer Programming by D. Knuth. The outcomes are in popular database systems and Non-SQL cloud infrastructures, including SQL-Server, DB2, MsAccess, MySQL, Postgres, Sybase, DbLibrary, Google's Bigtable, MsAzur, MongoDB and VMWare-Gemfire RAM-Cloud. At Dauphine, Dr. Litwin was Director of Centre d'Etudes et de Recherches en Informatique Appliquee (CERIA), between 96-08.

He chaired the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering [1989-1993], and in1994 was named Reuven and Francis Feinberg Professor of Electrooptics. He was the first chair of the Department of Electrooptics and Photonics Engineering 1999-2005, which grants graduate degrees only. He and Shlomi Arnon were awarded the JJ Thomson Award for their outstanding paper by the IEE in 1999. In 2001 he was awarded the Glant Prize for excellence in teaching. Prof. Radion Cherkez is a physicist specializing in thermoelectric materials, devices, and energy conversion technologies. He serves as a Professor in the Department of Thermoelectricity and Medical Physics at Chernivtsi National University, Ukraine, and is also a leading research fellow at the Institute of Thermoelectricity of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
With a Ph.D. in the physics of thermoelectric devices, Prof. Cherkez has made significant contributions to the theory and design of functionally graded materials, permeable thermoelements, thermoelectric generators, and cooling systems. He has authored more than 100 scientific publications and patents and co-edited the book Functionally-Graded Thermoelectric Materials.

I was born in Azerbaijan in 1946. In 1971, I graduated from the "Food Industry Machinery and Equipment" department of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute. I completed my doctoral studies between 1979 and 1982. I became an associate professor in 1991. During the same period, I served as a department manager at the Azerbaijan Ministry of Education and taught part-time at the same university's Department of Technical Drawing. In 1991 and 1992, I served as a Member of Parliament and Prime Minister of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. In 1994, I became a professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Gazi University, Republic of Turkey. Later, I worked as an advisor at the Turkish Prime Ministry and as a manager and executive in the R&D unit of the Ministry of National Defense and on special projects for the Air Force. After Gazi University, I worked at Abdullah Gul University and Giresun University. Since 2021, I have been serving as a member of the Board of Trustees of Ankara Bilim University. I have also established the "Anadolu Plasma Technologies" and the "Beycan Ibrahimoglu Plasma Technologies Education Fund," continuing my work in research and education. Prof. Dr. Beycan Ibrahimoglu is also a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. He has authored 120 scientific articles and 18 patents.

Tasaduq I. Wani is a full-time Doctoral Research Scholar (Cotutelle) jointly affiliated with BITS Pilani, India, and RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. He has a background in Civil and Environmental Engineering. His research focuses on wastewater-induced biogenic corrosion in sewer and pipeline systems, aiming to enhance environmental sustainability through advanced predictive modelling and improved management of sewer network systems. His work adopts a cross-national perspective, integrating Indian and Australian contexts. Dr. Haider is a scientific researcher specializing in mechanoluminescence (ML) and ultrasound-induced luminescence (Us-L) properties of phosphor materials. He has developed several novel experimental techniques for investigating ML and Us-L phenomena and focuses on fabricating ML-based stress sensors for industrial and medical applications. I was born in Turkey in 1994. I started my Mechanical Engineering degree at TOBB University of Economics and Technology in 2012. I was eligible for a scholarship based on my academic achievements during my undergraduate studies. I started my Master's degree at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2018 and worked on academic projects and as a teaching assistant during my master's program. I am currently defending my doctoral thesis at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute since 2020.
